Mrs. Wilmer D. Smith, Smithfield, NC, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.  Funeral Services  will be 1:30 pm Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Johnston Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church,1691 Barber Mill Road Clayton, NC 27520.  A public viewing will be Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 1:00- 5:00pm at Hood Funeral Home in the Walter and Cora Hood Memorial Chapel. There will be a visitation from 1:00 pm to 1:30pm at the church.

Left to cherish her memory are her children:  Joyce S. Wall, Garner NC; Paula Smith and  Victor Smith (Tarcher), both of Smithfield, NC; Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends.
