Burial will be at Johnston Piney Grove Community Cemetery, Clayton NC. A public viewing will be from 2:30 pm to 3:00pm at the church. He is survived by his Spouse Linda Dunston Alford, Clayton, NC; Daughter: Toni Rand and Son: Fredrick Rand, both of Raleigh, NC; Sisters: Delois Spellman ( James), Smithfield, NC and Betty Williams, Four Oaks, NC; 5 Grandchildren, 1 Great- Grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
