Mr. John Rowland, 89, Garner, NC, entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 20, 2024.  Funeral Services  will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, June 29, 2024 at First Congregational Church, 2410 Creech Road, Raleigh, NC 27610.  A public viewing will be Friday, June 28, 2024 from 1:00- 6:00pm at Hood Funeral Home in the Walter and Cora Hood Memorial Chapel. There will be a visitation from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at the church.

Left to cherish his memory, his spouse Patsy Rowland of the home; Daughters: Karen Rowland, Fayetteville, NC, Salima Tillery and Halima Tillery both of Raleigh, NC, Sons: Keith Tillery (Connie), John Rowland, Jr. (Nikky), Phillip Becoat, Jr. and Christopher Becoat, all of Raleigh, NC and Reginald Becoat (Divinity), Garner, NC; Sister: Eton Everette, Cary, NC; 18 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren  and host of other relatives and friends.
