Ms. Jessie Pauline Thigpen, Clayton, NC, departed this life on Monday, July 6, 2020.

Due to COVID-19, the Governor of North Carolina has asked that all gatherings be limited to no more than 30 people including staff and all attendees such as clergy, ushers, musicians etc. Please check with the family to see if you are invited.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Sunday, July 12, 2020 at New Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, Clayton, NC. Burial will be in Hood Family Cemetery, Hwy 210 Smithfield, NC. Left to cherish her memories are her children, Renita Calhoun, Clayton, NC, Claretta Hill, Washington, DC, Dwan Thigpen, San Diego, CA, Selwyn Thigpen, LaGrange, NC and Charlton Stukes, Fort Washington, MD; Sisters Parthenia (John) Suggs, Clayton, NC, Shirley Bass, Clayton, NC and Bettie (Otis) Williams, Selma, NC; Brother: Thomas W. (Ruby) Hood, Jr., Clayton, NC;  4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
