Mr. James Richardson, Clayton, NC, entered eternal rest on Friday, March 15, 2024.  

Funeral Services will be 12:00 noon, Friday, March  22, 2024 at Johnston Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1691 Barber Mill Road Clayton, NC, with a visitation prior to service from 11:30am- 12:00 noon. Burial will be in Hood Family Cemetery. A public viewing will Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 1:00- 4:00pm at Hood Funeral Home in the Walter and Cora Hood Memorial Chapel. A Visitation will be Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 6:00 - 7:30 pm at Wesley Chapel AME Church, Smithfield, NC.

Left to cherish his memory, Spouse: Rev. Dr. Dorothy H.. Richardson of the home, Daughters Linda Richardson, Zebulon, NC, Pastor Beverly Ham (Jerry), Pikeville, NC, Geraldine Royal, Raleigh, NC and Deebra Richardson, Clayton, NC, 5 Grandchildren,  7 Great Grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends.
