Vernon E. Sanders, 52, of Raleigh, NC passed Sunday, June 24, 2018. Funeral Services will be 10:30am Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Hood Funeral Home Chapel and burial following in Eastern Carolina State Veteran Cemetery, Goldsboro, NC. Visitation will be Friday, July 6, 2018 from 10:00 - 10:30am at the Funeral Home. Vernon leaves to cherish his memories, spouse Susanne Sanders, Killeen, Texas, Children: Lauren Lucien, Fayetteville, NC, Valerie, Vanessa and Sullivan Sanders, all of Killen, Texas; Father: Jesse Sanders, Garner, NC; Siblings: Sarah Cherry, Garner, NC and Brandon Dennis, Atlanta, Ga.; a grandson, Gabriel Lucien, Fayetteville, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.
