Mrs. Betty E. Barnes, 67 of Clayton, NC, departed this life on Friday, January 3, 2020.

Funeral Services will be 12 noon January 8, 2020 at Johnston Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1691 Barber Mill Road, Clayton, NC. Visitation will be 11:30 am - 12 noon at the church. Internment will follow at Johnston Piney Grove Cemetery, Clayton, NC.

Mrs. Betty is survived by her husband, Michael Barnes, Sr. of the home;  Daughter: Michelle Barnes Adams (Darryl), Garner, NC; Sons, Michael Barnes, Jr.(Ashley), and Monty Barnes, both of Clayton,NC; Sisters, Lillie Jiles (Charlie), Raleigh, NC and Peggy Dunston (Dennis), Clayton, NC; Brothers Paul Evans, Sr. (Cora) and Rev. Larry Evans (Dorothy) both of Garner, NC and Bruce Evans, Clayton, NC; 9 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Public Viewing: 1 pm - 8pm Tuesday January 7, 2020 @ Hood Funeral Home Chapel.
